Cardmaster Ranma: Return to studies. Not this time. Time for rest. [Episode 54581]

by Whyn

"WINDY!" Ranma called out, flipping the card with the picture of short-haired girl with swirls of wind surrounding the border of the card.

Swirls of wind came out of nowhere as the card seemed to change into a girl known as Sailor Uranus. She looked around the apartment until her eyes met his. Ranma nodded to her and she nodded back.

"For the space of a day, until the sun sets, be free,"

"So it's my turn?"

"Yes, we can spar later with Makoto. Right now I have to study." Ranma said the last word with a shudder.

Haruka nodded and changed back to her civilian form. At first she had treated him with disdain since he was her master and she the slave but that had changed. She noticed Ranma's blue eyes looking more and more tired as he kept up the pace to find a way to free the girls trapped as Ranma Cards. She knew that he had kept hitting dead ends with his research.

Haruka had noticed lately his eyes were losing the hope he had in them to free all of them. Haruka shook her head.

"Ranma, please stop. You need some rest." Haruka asked.

"But I need to find a way to set all of you free."

"I know but this can wait. I don't like the way you are looking right now Ranma. You need some rest. Who knows? Maybe a day or so away from the books will let you see this problem from a new angle." Haruka suggested. "Please for me."

"Alright." Ranma closed his book and walked into the other room. He crawled into the bed and fell quickly asleep.

As Ranma fell asleep certain events were happening.
