"Sure, I'm in...it sounds like fun" Ranma said. Actually the only reason Ranma joined up with Thanos because it would allow him to feed. Plus access to some of Thanos's technology.
Thanos was following the saying "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". He knew Ranma would betray him sooner or later. So Thanos wanted to know Ranma's weaknesses and he could use a pawn for his plans.
Back on Earth the Defenders and Sailor Senshi were walking back to the Tendo Dojo. Sailor Uranus was rubbing in the Senshi's victory over the Defenders. If it wasn't for the slightest amount of self control, Namor and the Hulk would have beaten her to a pulp.
It didn't take too long for the teams to get back to the Tendo Dojo. Dr. Strange was already back and looking over recent events with the Eye of Agamotto. The look Dr. Strange was giving the various members of the Tendo household as they watched him was frightening.
"Demons of Denak! Is there any wonder why this Ranma wanted revenge" Dr. Strange exclaimed. The antics he saw disgusted him. Ranma seemed the dump site for other people's problems. No man is an island, nor can take being treated like crap forever. However that didn't make becoming an evil entity and creating minions to kill people ok.
It was then that a frightening laughter filled the Tendo home. Nabiki thought it was Kodachi for a second, but then saw who it was. It was a.. scarecrow?
Sailor Uranus attacked the Scarecrow. Her sword went through him. Scarecrow just had a look of mild annoyance on his face. He then laughed. Then suddenly a murder of ravens flew into the Tendo Dojo and Haruka suddenly knew how cars and statues feel about birds. Everyone moved to the other end of the dojo and covered their noses. The Hulk chuckled.
As suddenly as they appeared, the murder of ravens left. Scarecrow pulled the Space Sword out of his chest and it was as if he was never struck by it.
Sailor Uranus was about to attack again when she was bound by the Crimson bands of Cytorrak.
"I know of this being, and he wouldn't appear unless the situtation was dire" Dr. Strange said and added"if you behave I'll release you" .
The Inners released a breath they were holding in. Haruka fumed. She was stuck and stunk. She'd get revenge for this.
"That is correct Strange" Scarecrow said and after a pregnant pause added "The change this Ranma has gone through has opened the doors to some very dangerous beings and we have to stop them"
