And it seemed that the triceratops were following them.
Due to their natures and the DNA that had been used to create them, they had bonded to Akane. Not in any physical or mental sense, but in more of an emotional way. This was someone to be trusted and protected. The human girl had not only not abused their trust, but she had done the tasks that were expected of her. Since they had little of that recently, they were not about to allow their sole source to be lost. Plus, she was willing to help in the defense of herself and the herd, so that made them even more attached to her.
The other human was an unknown, but they were prepared to let him be for them moment. He might be as nice as the first. However, they couldn't be sure of that, so they stayed wary. Besides, it seemed that the girl was not liking the other human much at the moment.
All Akane and Ryouga knew was that the giant dinosaurs were following them. The Lost Boy was slightly concerned, though he did realise that they were likely the reason that he wasn't visiting a T-Rex's stomach. Akane just put it down as the sweet animals wanting to be with her.
Yet, she knew that she couldn't stick around this place for very long. She had to get back to Nerima and safety. Getting eaten by giant carnivores was not on her 'to do' list. However, she didn't have any sort of map, so she was just wandering around in search of something that could guide her to some place that could keep her from getting eaten.
So, on she walked, looking around in the hopes of finding some clue when she realised that:
