Aisha sat on her bed, counting the cracks in her ceiling and thinking.
So, this is hell, her own personal hell. She was pregnant, pregnant by a human, a man who considered her nothing more then a beast.
A sardonic smile crossed her face as she though back to her life. She was the daughter of nobility. She had always been a shining star, she could do nothing wrong, succeeding at every endeavor, and where was she now? In one fell swoop she managed to loose it all. Now she’d gone past the point of now return.
She’d been a shining star of the empire, now she was just some destitute whore, carrying a half-breed bastard.
So much for the great, Aisha Clan-Clan...
