Parents And Children - Thieves and Ninjas: Thoughts Of Ladies [Episode 59483]

Nabiki frowned as she looked out the window of the room that she had rented. She was rather shocked with herself for not having realized earlier what she just had. That was something that she should have done much earlier.

Certainly it was something that could be excused. After all, Tarou was not someone who would be seen with any sense of regularity. He usually only showed up when he thought that he had some chance of defeating the old freak, or through simple co-incidence. Plus he was not someone who had any sort of good relationship with Ranma for the most part.

But it was a definate possibility that he would have gone to the older boy for help, even giving him his children to protect if need be. Tarou was a match for any of the murderesses and was likely more than even their combined strength. On the flip side, he was also responsible and disiplined and probably honorable in his own skewed way, what with his need to continue on his quest to get Happosai to change his name.

However there was a problem with checking on her theory. She would have to find some way of discovering where he was. It wasn't like he had a stable address that she could check out. Still, she wasn't the type to be daunted with such a problem.

Blowing out a breath, she set upon trying to find Tarou, and hopefully with him, the children.

In the Kamiya Dojo, Karou stood looking over the place that had been her home for her entire life. It was a place of memories for her, and until recently they had been all happy ones. Those were now the things that she replayed in her mind.

She could remember from the first day that Kenshin had arrived, to the the times in Kyoto to the days of peace that they had so enjoyed. Where she had gone from a life that she hadn't realized was lonely to creating a family of her very own. A sometimes strange and rowdy family, but a true one.

Even when one would pass, as Aoshi had, they had still had each other. Tsubame had finally snatched up Yahiko, Sanosuke was still his rough self, and she had Kenshin. Life was continuing, and becoming almost normal, or as much as hers would get, not that she was really about to complain.

And Misao had managed to start her own family. She had been so concerned about the younger woman when Aoshi's accident had happened, as she had cared so for the swordsman. But she had also been certain that with love and affection they would be able to heal her sorrow. When Ranma came into the picture, it had been amusing to say the least. There had been many an arguement and insult contest in this very training all. Still the two of them had managed to get over it, and had fallen in love.

That brought him into their family, though he had been a close friend for a while, especially with the way that he had brought Misao back to them. The couple had doted on each other, and upon their children. She could remember the way that those two scamps had run around her Dojo, playing their games and enjoying their childhood.

Then had come the awful news of the murder of Misao and Ranma. Everyone had been chomping at the bit to go after those who had done it, and to rescue the children, including her. All of them, and their friends and allies had gone out to do it. No part of Japan would be left unexamined, and no lead unfollowed.

However, she was still at home, waiting for word, for several reasons. Someone had to be there to relay messages, as well as be prepared to fix up things if they did find the children. Plus, there might be someone who could bring news to them, and there had to be a trustworthy person there to recieve it. And then there was the final reason for her having to stay behind, even if she was capable of looking for the children.

"Mommy!" called out a small redheaded boy.

"Coming Kenji!" she replied. As she hurried over to her and Kenshin's son, she hoped that Misao's children were just as safe as hers. She just couldn't bear it if anything happened to them. But she had faith in her husband, family and friends, and was certain that they would bring both back safe and sound. All she had to was wait.

As she attended to her child,:
