Ranma looked up at the sign in front of the facility: RVD Technologies. It had everything - metal shop, polymer injection molding, ceramic and chipmaking kilns, custom-built supercomputers, anything that a budding superpower might need to make the equipment of conquest. Of course, nobody would realize the truth of RVD before its time; Father’s technological gifts, combined with his own acumen, were such that he’d be able to churn out new products for the next twenty years - long enough to change the face of Japan.
There was only one thing missing: workers. RVD was a company of one at the moment, and it desperately needed people. Ambitious people, folks with an eye toward the future of this country - people, like him, who wanted to make the world, not be made by it. He knew how to get his people behind him... he just needed to find the right ones.
Ranma looked at the first resume on his desk, and smiled. There was something about this person that tripped his fancy; he wasn’t sure, but he had a feeling that this person would be ideal for RVD. Such an interesting name...
