"Huh?" Ranma said. "Me?"
"Yeah," Britanny said. "You've got to have some idea of why our fathers set this up."
"Why should I know anything?" Ranma demanded.
"You've been travelling with your father all this time, haven't you?" Gina asked.
"Yeah, so?" Ranma asked.
"You had to hear something," Brianna said.
"Did any of you guys hear anything from your Dad?" Ranma asked pointedly. There was dead silence for a moment. "Pops doesn't tell me anything."
"Hmm, so, I guess we should start getting to know one another," Brianna said after a moment. "See if this can work."
"Yeah, I'm Ranma Saotome," Ranma said. "I'm the heir to the Saotome School of Anything Goes Martial Arts."
The girls waited for him to continue.
"What?" Ranma asked. "That's it."
"Ah I see," Gina said. "I'm Gina, like Dad said. I'm adventuring archeaologist."
"She's a treasure hunter," Britanny said.
"Archeaologist," Gina insisted. "I'm seeking..."
"Loot," Brianna interrupted.
"Scientific knowledge," Gina virtually growled. "And I enjoy meeting..."
"Hot, hunky men," Brianna finished.
"INTERESTING PEOPLE!!" Gina snapped. "And you're one to talk!"
"At least I don't rationalize it," Brianna said, sticking out her tongue.
"I'm Britanny, or Brit, or Cheetah," Britanny said. "And no offense kid, but I've got a boyfriend."
"Oh cool," Ranma said.
"Cool?" Britanny responded, eye twitching. "Wouldn't you want to date me?"
"Err, you kinda...look like something I don't like to be around," Ranma said, trying to be tactful.
"And what is that?" Britanny demanded.
"Ummm...c c c c cats," Ranma said timidly before the irritated Britanny.
"You don't like cats?" Bri asked confused.
"Hey, it's not like a big thing or anything," Ranma snapped, instantly defensive.
"Okay, okay," Brianna said. "Well, umm..,I'm Brianna...or Bri...I'm just their clone."
"Okay," Ranma said, not knowing what a clone was and deciding it was some slang of younger sister or something.
"Okay?" Bri repeated, confused.
