"I don't believe this jerk!" Britanny hissed, glaring at Ranma. Without pause, the Digger daughter continued, "I don't believe daddy either! Engaging us to a jerk that doesn't even like cats!" She punctuated her statements with several pokes to Ranma's chest.
Brianna and Gina were both in disbelief, Britanny already had a boyfriend, damnit. Why should she be concerned that their new fiancee didn't take to her charms immediately? Then again, Ranma, who seemed to be a proud martial artist to them, was backing down a little too quickly for that to make sense.
"C.. C... C... CAT!" Ranma exclaimed as he fumbled his way backwards from the angry feline in front of him. It was big, it was mad, and Ranma's phobia was screaming at him to get away!
Britanny's countenance changed from anger, to confusion, and finally to concern. Yet, even her concern had an underlying confusion to it from what Brianna could tell by her sister's expression. Her own expression, if she had seen it, was also one of bewilderment and confusion.
Gina, who was also trying to figure this fiancee business out, put a hand on her sister's shoulder, "Maybe you shouldn't push him so hard. Bri, could you.."
Before Gina could finish her statement, Brianna had already moved to check on Ranma, who had managed to back himself into a corner. Luckily, Ranma hadn't ran or lost control of the Neko-ken.
As she approached Ranma, she found a shaking young man, almost lost in his fear. From behind her, she heard Britanny screech, "A phobia?!!? Gina, this can't be happening!" Brianna wanted to reply, but somehow found her own voice a whisper, "Ranma, are you okay? What's wrong?" She wanted to hear what their mutual fiancee had to say, and had mindlessly began petting him to sooth the martial artist.
Tilting her head to the side, Brianna continued, "C'mon Ranma, it's alright. We're all friends here, 'k?"
