The Boss of the Bunny's delight carefully affixed the card saying "I love my job, and want to protect the bar, my co-workers and my boss." Nodding to himself he left the mini room, closed the bookcase, and picked up the two letters that had prompted him to use the card.
The Yakusa were a fact of life in the business. Indeed their relationship with the Bunnies Delight tended to be beneficial toward the bar. Normally at least. However the local Oyabun had died a few weeks ago, and his chosen successor Yoshi Houjou clearly suffered from either inexperience or stupidity, causing another faction to rise in challenge, led by Koji Hosen.
The power struggle would sort itself out in time. However both sides had recognized the value of the Bar with it's influential patrons and strategic value.
"If I side with either, I'm not only risking everything on their chance of winning, I’m increasing the bar's ties to a degree that could really bite back in the future." The Boss said to himself. "However both will try to force the issue if I don't come out on their side, and since their the folks I usually call for in these situations. . ." He picked up a folder with Ranko's picture paper-clipped to it. "Heir of the Anything Goes School of martial Arts. I hope her skills are as impressive as the title sounds."
"Thank you sir!" Ranma proclaimed as she bowed deep, then rose and pivoted around to strut away, moving just in time that the hand reaching out toward her butt missed. She walked down the aisle, adding just enough swish to her hips that heads turned to follow her as she passed. The wonderful tingling warmth sensation provoked by the knowledge of all the eyes on her was by now familiar. 'I never thought I'd say it, but I love this job!' Ranma thought as she walked to the main bar. Not only was the bar turning out to be a surprisingly fertile training ground for a completely new martial art, but it was a place where she could revel in the hotness of her girl body without any reservations. And the pay was good enough to sweep away and remaining reservations.
'Still. . .' She thought. ' I've felt a little on edge today, as though there's a fight on the horizon. . .'
