"Poison," Minako commented, leaping down from her perch on the streetlight and walking over to Michiru and the fake Hotaru. "Strong stuff." She yanked the sword out unceremoniously, and waved it in the air a few times, to get the green grime off it.
Haruka nodded slowly, noting with no small amount of displeasure that her own sword was two inches shorter. "So, you were going to tell us what was going on?" she asked, taking the matters into her own hands, as Michiru seemed to be in shock at the death of a perfect facsimile of their adopted daughter.
"Oh, not much," Minako replied with a shrug. "Just, you know, really boring aliens taking over Japan and enslaving its population. Did you have a pleasant vacation?"
"Yeah, it was a blast," Haruka replied absent-mindedly, as she tried to wrap her brain over the information she had just received. "You should've seen Michiru in her tiger-striped bikini."
"I bet." Minako walked over to the car, and eased herself into the driver's seat. "So, how about we hightail out of here before the Pod People reinforcements show up?" Dropping her transformation, she added, "You might as well follow my lead. It seems the aliens can't find us as easily while we're in our civvies."
Following her advice, Haruka and Michiru detransformed, and slowly took their previous seats inside Setsuna's car. Just as Minako revved the engine, however, Haruka had one question.
"I haven't! Just seemed like a perfect time to put my m4d l33t gaming experience to use!" *screech*
"Hehe... about that. Actually--"
