"Yeah!" Minako agreed cheerfully, "I've been afraid to really go up against the Pod People on my own, but with you guys to back me up I bet we can take all of them out easily!"
Haruka nodded, giving Minako a dashing smile that caused the younger blonde's heart to go all aflutter despite the fact she knew full well that Haruka was a woman. Taking out her transformation pen, she held it aloft and cried out, "Uranus Planet Power, Make UP!"
Following suit, Minako quickly transformed as well. "Venus Crystal Power, Make UP!"
"Nice transformation sequence," Hikaru opined, still in her Magic Knight armour.
"Thanks!" Minako winked at the redhead, striking her trademark 'V' pose. "For love and beauty, I am the beautiful sailor suited soldier, Sailor Venus!"
Posing arrogantly beside her comrade, Uranus prepared to deliver a rousing intro speech until she noticed something amiss. "Hey, Michiru, transform! We need to do our introductions together!"
Michiru had a pained expression as she looked around at all the carnage, and thought of what was likely to come. "Will killing a bunch of Pod People really solve anything? Shouldn't we escape and try to come up with a more permanent solution to this problem?"
"Well... yeah... we could," Uranus said, not sounding terribly enthused at missing out on a chance for so much destruction. "But that wouldn't be proper, would it?"
"Proper?" queried the aqua tressed maiden.
"Yeah, we have to show them not to mess with us first, y'know let everyone see how magnificent and elegant we are! That way we'll be in a stronger position to deal with them next time."
Michiru sighed. She didn't really buy it, but could tell that her partner would be insufferable if she didn't get her way... "Neptune Planet Power, Make UP!"
"That's the spirit!" Venus cheered.
Now that both outer senshi were in their proper intro poses, they commenced with the speechifying.
"Wherever trouble is, Sailor Uranus is there to clean it up."
"So am I, Sailor Neptune, here to deliver victory to the people."
Both held their poses for a moment before relaxing. "It's not the same, is it?" Uranus said, sounding a little disappointed.
"Yes, we really need Sailor Pluto to give her line about preserving the peace for all time for it to have the desired effect," Neptune agreed sadly.
"Aww, don't be like that! I thought you both sounded very impressive, didn't you... uh... hey, we never got your name," Venus turned her attention to the Magic Knight.
"Oh, sorry! I'm Hikaru Shidou... I don't really have a superhero type name or anything."
"Right," Venus nodded agreeably, "You liked their speeches, didn't you?"
"Oh yes, you both put forth a very imposing image. If I was evil I'd be very intimidated!" Hikaru said enthusiastically.
Uranus and Neptune both puffed up a little at the words of praise. "Yeah, we don't often get feedback on our speeches, but we try to put across the right image..." Uranus said, rubbing her knuckles on the front of her fuku.
Neptune chose this point to nudge her partner in the ribs and speak up, "I really think we should actually start fighting, if that's what you planned... the Pod People are getting awfully close."
"Right you are! Let's get to it, then!" Uranus agreed, cracking her knuckles.
