Ranmas' father was one of the many 'failed' were creature types Iczeron cast out of his tower eons ago. The weredemon experiments included magical and extra-plannar beasts of many kinds, however, he always was partial to felines.

Were-Animental Cat ( Elemental Animals).
Were-Displacer Beast ( Four arms, tentacles and displacement.Oh my!).
Were-Hellcat ( Invisible in light demon lion!).
Were-Kirre ( Six arms, horns, spiked tail & psi power.You Bastard!!).
Were-Umbrinal Cat ( Shadow Elemental Animal).
Were-Something Else!
