Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy stared as they watched Robin carry suitcases and bags to and from his room at the Tower. They had seen something like this before, bakc when Starfire had almost been forced to marry a slimy alien in a plot by her sister Blackfire.
"Dude," beast boy said to Robin finally, stopping him, "Don't tell us you'e going back to Gotham to get married per Batman's orders."
"No worries there," Robin said, "but I will be out of the country for a month. Batman wnats me to have similar training he had, so... I'll be staying in Japan for a while."
This revelation gave way to an almost united burts of exclamating questions.
"DUDE! The birthplace of anime?!"
"The home of most modern science and video games?!"
"The primary location of the raw fish food known as soo-she?!"
"The printing press of my favorite manga books?!" Blinking, raven regained her composure. "I mean, All of the above, guys."
Robin nodded. "Thats right, and I'll be staying in Tokyo. However, I'm going under my real name so there are some rules Batman wanted me to relay to you. First of all, my communicator stays here at the Tower. Second, absolutely no phone calls between us while I'm gone. Third and finally, you guys, under any circumstances, cannot and must not ever come visiting me over there. But, email is okay."
Starfire did not like these rules. "I will not see you for a month?"
Beast Boy whispered to Raven & Cyborg at this. "We may have to lock her up while Robin's away."
Raven raised an eyebrow. "Where, Fort Knox?"
Robin checked his watch. "My flight leaves in two hours, I'd better finish packing before my ride gets here. I asked Aqualad to fill in for me while I'm gone, so you'll still have a fifth member. Cyborg, you're in charge while I'm gone. If anything goes wrong, Batman will be waiting for a call." With that, Robin went back to getting his things.
Starfire was shaking as she watched him go. "I will not see you for a MONTH?!" she cried as the rest of the Titans dogpiled her before she could chase after Robin.
The next Day, in Japan...
"SAOTOME!"
Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi Tendo came rushing to the guest room after hearing their father's shout. Upon arrival, they saw Soun Tendo untying a bound and gagged Genma Saotome, who also had a large lumb on his head. "Uncle Saotome, what happened," Kasumi asked worringly.
"Better question," Akane spoke up, "where's Ranma? I haven't seen him all day and he's been very quiet lately."
Once the gag came off, Genma started talking. "Ranma did this to me. I came in here looking for him to see if he wanted to spar a bit. When I opened the door, he was about to go out the window with his bakcpack all packed and his dresser emptied out. I asked him where he thought he was sneaking off to, and he looke dpast me, smiled and waved as he said 'Hi,mom.' Horrified, I turned to see if Nodoka was behind me, which she wasn't. That's when Ranma nailed me from behind but good."
Nabiki eyed the lump on Genma's head. "Damn good, judging by that lump."
"When I came to, I was in the closet and my hands and feet were bound and I had a gag in my mouth."
Soun was stumped at this. "But where could Ranma have gone? And why did he go in the first place? You didn't have another arguement with him, did you, Saotome?"
Genma took the icepack Kasumi had given him and pressed it gently to his lump. "No, we've gotten along fine these last few days."
It was then that Akane, in hot anger, shouted a thought. "He's gone to see Shampoo or Ukyo! That's the only explanation!"
Nabiki rolled her eyes at this. "Somehow, I doubt that. But, if it helps, I'll have my contacts keep tabs on both restaurants."
But Akane didn;t hear her. Her anger/jealousy reaching its peak, she ran out of the room and headed for the front door. I'LL KILL HIM!

Konoka and Asuna came running into the head office where the Dean, Konoka's grandfather, sat behind his desk. Before they could say anything, however, the Dean said to them, "I assume Negi didn't tell you in person he was moving."
Asuna blinked. "Moving? As in he's not staying with us anymore?" She wondered why this didn't thrill her as much since she really didn't like having a kid, her teacher, rooming with her.
The Dean stroked his long silvery beard. "Yes, Asuna. You see, he came to me as felt that changing lodgings would help your studies and social health, which he said were deteriorating as of late. Therefore, I found him a temporary place to stay off campus."
"You don't mean he's staying at the Class Rep's mansion now," Konoka asked. Asuna mentally thought that would be a logical place for Negi to go.
"Oh no, granddaughter, he's not there. I found Negi-sensei an apartment to live in with four other gentlemen. However, I am unable to tell you or anyone in your class where this apartment is. Negi-sensei asked me to keep it a secret so as to not bother his roommates. But, rest assured, you will still see him at class."
Suddenly, Asuna wonderd if Negi's ermine friend Chiao had gone with him. She decided to check her underwear drawer as soon as she got back to her room, just to be safe. And if one piece was missing, that ermine would be a belt when she caught it.

Tai looked at the front door as Kari came walking in to the apartment. "So, how was your date?"
Kari smiled. "It was fine. We had lunch and a movie, like every Wednesday."
"And Davis treated you okay?"
"Why do you make my boyfriend sound worse than what he is? You're the one who set us up, remember?"
I only did it to get even with Matt for dating Sora, but after I saw how it hurt TK, I've been regretting it ever since. "Because you're all he thinks about, talks about, and dreams about."
"Duh! It's called love."
"There's a difference between love and obsession. ...And between love and a crush."
Kari sighed at this. "Whatever. Did anybody call for me?"
Tai went back to watching TV. "Not for you, no, but I have something to tell you. I called Matt earlier and asked if TK wanted to join me for a guy's night out, and he said TK moved out."
"That's nice," Kari said as she walked into her and Tai's room. Tai closed his eyes and plugge dhis ears with his fingers. Three, two, one, now.
"TK WHAT?!" Kari rushed out of the room and staretd screaming at Tai. "WHEN? WHERE? WHY?"
"Two hours ago, dunno, and why do you care?"
Ignoring Tai's sarcastic answers, Kari went right for the phone and dialed a number. "Hello, is TK there? How long ago did he leave? When will he be back? Well where is this apartment? What do you mean 'you can't tell me?!' Thanks for nothing, Yamato Ishida!" She slammed the receiver back into its cradle before she turned to glare at Tai. "Why didn't you call me as soon as you found out?"
"Well, you did tell me not to bother you on your date, and on top of that you forgot to take your cell with you."
"But why wouldn't he tell me he was moving? I thought we were best friends."
That's the problem."
"What's that?"
"Nothing."
************************************
Seto Kaiba checked his watch. His four roommates had half an hour to arrive at the apartment.
It was a good idea on Mokuba's part. Kaib did need a vacation after the Doma Incident, and he wouldn't know what to do with himself with so much downtime until Kaiba World officially opened. At least this way, he could start making some friends.
Being the president of a grand-scale company like Kaiba Corp., Kaiba had very little social time, even at school. He hated to admit it, but Yugi was the closest to a friend he had. Maybe some more friends would help me with my dueling skills, he thought. After all, I could use all the help I can get for the upcoming Kaiba Corp. Grand Prix since I plan to have the winner duel Yugi. IF he'll agree to it.
But what if these four roommates of mine have never played Duel Monsters before? Then again, maybe teaching them how to play the game will help me a little.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Kaiba walked over to the room and opened the door to see...
