"I didn't finish!" she whined, before remembering they hadn't paid for the meal. It struck her as a dishonest act, and she was about to mention both that and that they let her down (her feet weren't even touching the ground from the speed they were pulling her at!), when they...
...jumped.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" Usagi screamed shrilly as she was pulled high up into the air, her feet no longer even having the option of touching the ground.
Her companions winced at the scream and set her down on the roof they'd just landed on. Usagi sat there, her legs crossed, eyes closed, and contining to scream for half a minute before cautiously opening her eyes to the annoyed faces of Ranma and Kurumi.
She placed her hand to the side and pressed down.
She felt a roof shingle.
She sighed in relief.
"What's the big idea!" she yelled at the two of them as she got up.
Ranma pressed his finger into his ear with a wince, and made a cleaning motion. "Owie..."
Twitching at Ranma's action, Usagi turned to face him and got into his face, her finger dangling in front of his face. "Don't you 'owie' me, missy! Why on earth did you guys take me to the roof?"
Ranma looks back at Kurumi with a pleading face, but Kurumi responds with her own, wanting to find her sister before the crowd did. Being more apt to cave into a woman's pleading look than another woman, Ranma sighed as he turned back to face the rabid rabbit. "Hey, we were just trying to look out for Kurumi's sister, she was getting chased, and somebody had to sav..."
Usagi's eyes lit up with fire as she thought about a mob of people chasing a poor defenseless woman, even as she forgot about the unpaid meal. She struck a dramatic pose as she pointed to the sky, stating, "There must be justice!"
While this would have been a good moment for lightning to strike behind her...none did. Ah well, she wasn't Kuno after all.
Ranma and Kurumi both coughed, and continued to look around, trying to spot Natsume and the mob, even as Usagi attempted to do so as well.
