Ranma-ryu: Principal Kuno's Luau [Episode 72376]

by The Masked Lurker

It was late October. It was time for Furinkan High School to have their annual school-sponsored culture festival. Classrooms were turned into cafes. Clubs turned themselves into food vendors. People hosted plays. Being it was Furinkan High School, one of the events highlighted for the evening was the "authentic" Hawaiian luau, to which the principal had made attendance and participation mandatory. Every class had to provide food for the feast.

Principal Kuno, noticing a lack of enthusiasm in the crowd as he made the announcemnt the month before, had instituted a pig roasting competition. He then announced that the group with the best-tasting pig, according to a panel of teachers and staff, won term-long passes from mandatory haircuts.

No harassment from the principal and his over-sized shears for an entire semester. It had quickly become a popular event, with a large crowd of students fighting amongst themselves at the sign-up sheet. Only six teams, each composed of five people, had been allowed to participate. The competion was fierce from the very beginning.

In the end, six teams stood victorious over the rest. Let's visit them now as they prepared for the luau.
