"Ranma! Over here! We've got the firepit dug!"
"Righh," managed Ranma, nodding his head. They needed the wood chopped and the charcoal and wood chips spread.
"I can help!"
"No, Akane, you've done enough just carrying all that stuff."
Ranma tried to say something about they being there to win and not poison people, but he still didn't have the hang of shaping long sentences in dragon-form so it just came out as "Rad idear!"
Yuka and Sayuri just gestured for Akane to stand down.
Miyo handed Akane the axe. "You can go get the pig."
"Ruh roh," said Ranma before remembering "P-chan" didn't exist in this new life.
"What you keikei makin' over heah?" The Principal wandered past. As Ranma in dragon form didn't have any hair, and this was a truce time, no hostilities commenced.
"We got this giant boar and we're going to cook it Hawaiian luau style," exclaimed Akane.
"Y-y-you're not the one cooking it, are you, keikei?" The Principal took a few steps back, beginning to look pale under his tan.
"No, we're out to win this competition," said the Home Ec teacher.
"HEY!" Akane protested.
"Go get the pig, Akane," advised Miyo.
