A little hole opened up in the ground. A mole stuck his head out and squeaked excitedly. Civilization at last! Though it looked kind of backwards even by Amazon Village standards.
Mousse the mole wandered off to find hot water to transform back. Unfortunately missing a sign that would have explained some new problems he was about to have.

Genma took a seat in the dining room and poured hot water over himself. Ah. No more panda. What he was really hoping to avoid was that crazy fanged boy that had chased him all over China.
A familiar figure walked in the door and stared. "G-Genma?"
"Yes," said Genma. "Soun, my old friend. It is good to see you at last."
"Genma! You must tell me about your travels! Where's Ranma?"
"I don't know," admitted Genma. "I saw your daughters earlier."
"Where are they anyway?" Soun asked. "The house was open when I got here. And what do you mean you don't know where your son is?"
"A very long story," said Genma. "First let me tell you about this little problem that developed along the way."
"Excuse me," said a certain fanged boy. "You said something about a crazed panda attacking you?"
"Yes, that's exactly it! He came into our home without warning!" Nabiki fretted. How was she to deal with problems like this? Now she couldn't find anyone who'd believe her, except apparently this fellow. Hmmm. Studly too.
Ryoga smiled. "I've been hunting that panda for some time now. He's more dangerous than you could know. Just show me where he is. I'll take care of him for you."
Crack! went the egg.
"EEEP!" said Ranma.
"Hmmm," hmmmed Seta.
The turtle slowly moved itself around to look at Ranma and say:
