Groaning, she tried to stand up, only to feel a hand push her back down onto the bed. Illy opened her eyes slowly. It was blurry at first, but soon she was able to make out the form of her mother. "Mom?" the werelioness asked in a confused, tired tone of voice.
"Shush, dear," The elder lioness said. "You've got to relax. You had quite a nasty fall back in the shop."
Illy nodded her head. She had remembered a bit of pain and then... Nothing. Looking around, Illy could see she was still in her own room. "And then you took me up here, right?"
"Yes," Illy's mother answered her. "Your father went to get the assistance of a healer and bring him back here, but you've awoken before he's come back with one."
"I see..." Illy said. She shivered as some images went through her head, ones mostly of dark scenary of red of black and screams of pain.
"Illy? What's wrong, dear?" Her mother asked as she shook her shoulder. "Illy!"
Shivering for a moment, Illy looked over to the older werelioness. "Mom. Did I say anything when I went into shock?"
Blinking her eyes, her mother responded, "Yes. You were mumbling something. Your father and I were more worried about your health that we didn't pay attention to it."
Nodding her, head, Illy looked at her mother seriously. "Please, think clearly. Try to remember and tell me what I said. PLEASE!"

Groaning, Tarrisha sat up, her head looking over some bushes. Last she knew she was climbing a castle wall to collect some 'contributions' for her latest journey from the local Duke, when she suddenly got dizzy and fell...
Moving her head, Tarrisha groaned at how sore it was. "Probably broke it on the way down. Thank the Gods for lycanthrope healing abilities," the werepanthress thought seriously.
Looking around, Tarrisha let out a sigh of relief. Good. It seemed that no one saw her as of yet. Best to get the hell out of there, regroup and try to sneak in some other-
Tarrisha's thought came to a grinding halt. She remembered what had happened clearly now. A warning. Images of all of Iceron's 'kin' dying slowly in horribly, bloody, brutal deaths. A true massace. "A war..." Tarrisha whispered softly.
Moving away from the castle, Tarrisha stumbled a bit as if experiencing vertigo. These images really unsettled her. And she could tell that they were no fever dream. Something was wrong. Tarrisha had always been sensitive to catastrophic events, so she just knew carnage was on the way.
But what to do? Fight it? Hide?
Tarrisha shook her head. She didn't know what it was but she knew one thing. She had to wrn her brother first. He was the only living relative she had left, and if this vision was true, she had to get him to safety. "I've got to find Thropan."

"Yo, Gee! Get yo ass up, 'kay? Don't you be making me worried non', ya here?" Came an all-too clear voice through the head of Cassandra.
Opening her eyes, the woman shut them as tightly as she had opened them. Grabbing the pillow from behind her head, Cassandra, (Aka 'Alex) shouted, "Jesus, Ace! Do you have a lamp on or something! Shut the damn thing off already!"
"Oh, sorry, Gee!" the ace pilot Kevin Koss apologized as he turned to turn off the overhed lamp. "Doctor turned it on earlier, to check you over Alex. After you kinda went, well... Weird on us, speaking in tongues and echoing voice. It was like something outta the Exorcist, yo!"
"Excuse me," Alex asked, moving the pillow away from her head so she could look at her friend. "What do you mean?"
"Yeah, you had the propjecy of doom thing going on, yo!" Ace said. "Kinda scary too. You even went... Well... Look at'cha!"
Looking down at herself, Alex had seen that she had indeed shown off a heritage she never meant to. "F*ck! I went hybrid! Shit... What did the Colnel say?"
"Well..." Ace began slowly. "Most people were shocked and not sure as to what to make of you, Gee," Ace explained. "Still, we knew ya needed help and brought you to the medical examiner's office."
Alex's eye twitched. "I'm in the morgue down the street from the air-base!?"
"Well, yeah..." Ace said uneasliiy. "They thought you dead. Your heart did stop for a few minutes."
Alex rolled her eyes. "Crap and a half." Blinking her eyes, Alex looked at Ace and asked, "Wait... You've never seen this side of me... So why aren't you... Well... Freaking out?"
Shrugging Ace said, "You are the first Lycanthrope I've seen. A friend of mine happens to be a werecheetah."
Alex raised an eyebrow. "There's more out there?"
"Yeah," Ace said. "Anyway, Gee, I think it's best to take youto her father. You went through quite a nasty seizure, and I'm sure Dr. Diggers knows how to handle Lycanthropes... Plus he'd want to know about the creepy stuff you said; sweat it was right from the Exorcist or somethin'!"
Alex sighed. What the hell was going on with her?
