The morning had been one where Aura had tried to hit him with snowballs (the promise of snow had been delivered by about six inches) and Ranma had replied in kind.
After about a half hour he realized the Pixie was missing and he'd dug her out of the snowdrift she'd been buried in.
"Ranmaaaaa!" yelled Yuri as she came running up the road. "I've brought a monster so you can have your Pixie practice fighting."
"That's nice, but I... erk." Ranma froze as he stared at the terrifying THING that was moving behind Yuri. Though the button eyes and obvious stitching gave it a slightly ludicrous bent to that appearance.
"Behold my battling instructor - Meowzer!" Yuri said proudly as she pointed at the animated cat doll behind her. "She'll... is something wrong?"
"C-c-c-c-c-c-CAT!!!!!"
Meowzer decided, like some cats, that the human feared it so it would just go over and play-fight. Just like a cat will pick the one person allergic to cats to crawl all over and shed on. Same instinct went to work.
"Ah!"
Aura came out to see her trainer freaking and a Mew attacking him? What the heck was going on NOW?
"GET IT AWAY!" Zuuuuuuuuuuu SHOOM!
Aura blinked repeatedly. That had looked a lot like a Hyperbeam!
"RANMA! Meowzer is here for your Pixie to fight, not you! Your Pixie will never beat Teetee's..." Yuri's face went from irritated to thoughtful as something occurred to her. "This is another curse isn't it?"
"C-c-c-c-cat," agreed Ranma. More or less.
"Goodness. Remind me never to go wherever you came from," said Yuri. "Meowzer? Good monster. I'll sew that back on in a jiffy."
The Pixie looked at her trainer in a new light. He knew monster attacks and was going to teach her those attacks by example? Wow.
"Nice k-k-kitty, go away k-k-kitty," mumbled Ranma.
Sneaking up on her trainer, Aura strained to make the right noise. "Meow."
"AAAAAAA!" WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM shuuuu- BLAM!
As everything faded to dark, Aura the Pixie made a note that while this might be good DEFense training, never to do that again.
"You're going to need to work on that or someone will exploit that as a weakness to get you disqualified," pointed out Yuri.
"Gak," went Ranma as Pride and Fear (two of the major forces in his life) came into conflict.
