Having made his pronouncement, Shinji expected the same thing he always got in dreams like this. He get one or more of the women he knew coming up to him in some sort of sensual way, doing something that would make him all giddy and ready to act like Kensuke and Touji did all the time. Then he'd get into it, being allowed to play and touch them in places where it made him feel it in his own body.

He was of course a teenaged boy who was interested in the feminine gender. With working and living with attractive women all the time, he was bound to get some intrest in them. Which he had, having found something he'd liked about each of them, both physically and mentally.

It was only the simple fact that he didn't feel worthy of any sort of love or affection, and that he thought they'd laugh and be repulsed by the idea of being with him that he felt it absoultely absurd to think that they could ever want him. Which impacted his natural teenaged dreams and turned them into nightmares like being treated like the most desirable boy alive, and then discovering, just as he got to his skivies that it was all a trick and that he was near naked in front of everyone he knew so he could be laughed at.

But he had figured out that if he was going to be put through misery later, he'd better enjoy himself now.

Which made it a completely true desire, and something that the Norn of the Past could act upon.

"And we have a bang up of a choice!" Urd declared and swirled around so that she showed off the fact that she was wearing a plug suit. "How will this go is anyone's guess, but he's going with becoming a hunk for his ladies!"

"I am..?" Shinji asked in confusion.

"Yes you are, and soon, with the help of a certain power up, you'll be able to take control of your life and have plenty of bedroom action at the same time!"

"Yeah... before I go through a whole lot of pain..."

"Hey, if you're into that stuff kiddo, go for it!"

"Huh?"

"ANY-way, let's see what giving a power-up will do for our pilot with low self-esteem!"

"Whaaa..," went said pilot as he found himself disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
