"So it is decided. Ranma will marry Akane." Soun nodded as if it had all been decided.
"What the hell's wrong with you two. Not gonna marry. Not gonna unite the two houses." Ranma glared especially hard at the stupid man.
"It's a matter of family honor," began Genma.
Ranma told him what he could do with family honor in graphic anatomical detail.
"Oh my," said a shellshocked Kasumi.
"Such language will not be tolerated in my house!" thundered Soun.
"Then I'll just leave now," said Ranma, getting up and ignoring the melodramatic fool. Respect had to be earned, wasn't that the way it was? So far he hadn't seen any reason to respect this idiot who didn't even have his dojo sign anymore. "Ain't no reason for me to stick around."
"Where do you think you're going?" Genma demanded.
"Well, I could go try and find a cure for my curse," said Ranma. "It ain't like I haven't spent most of my life without any roof over my head anyway."
Nabiki thought of correcting Ranma's punctuation but survivability was a higher priority than grammatical correctedness.
Genma stood up and seemed to loom menacingly. "I guess we'll just have to have this out."
Ranma went into a ready stance. "Bring it on, old man."
