Of course, she didn't expect the first thing for Sandalphon to do would be for it to make a run around her, hidden partially from the shower of debris that its entrance. It used the obscuring cloud to blind Yui as it dived to the right of her, and moved as if it was about to rush right on by. She saw it though and moved fast in the hopes that she would be able to hit it hard enough to at least keep it from getting away.
Instead, a rather large piece of machinery did that for her, as it flew into the Angel, slamming it against the wall.
For a moment, Yui just stared at the dazed Sandalphon, but then she slowly turned her head to look at the source of the blow.
Which turned out to be Unit 02 standing there, with one arm outstretched from the throw.
"Unit 02?" she asked.
"My name is not 'Unit 02'. It is Kyoko Zeppelin Souryu," replied the red Eva.
"I see..."
"Let me change into something a bit more comfortable..," Kyoko said, and much as Yui had before her, Unit 02 brought her arms out as she braced her legs together. Golden light burst from the seams in the armor, and the armor reformed into another outfit.
And when it came back together, standing there was Asuka's mother, now a giant:
