"It's been off-and-on," pointed out the glowing sphere. "Both have been known to take off for a generation or so and take mortal lovers."

"Oh my," put in Kasumi, as she began scribbling things down on her grocery list. She'd certainly have to see about getting some things for a royal guest.

A sunbeam began to thicken and produce a transporter-like effect.

"That would be her now," said the aasimon.

• It's a 'canon' version, the sort who would lock herself into a cave because she'd been mocked and plunge the world into darkness.
• This is more an OMG style of Amaterasu who has gotten some assertiveness training and been taught to fight by valkyries and tengu masters.
• Amaterasu chooses one of the regular fiancees to mix a portion of her essence with and form an avatar suitable for this relationship.
• Actually its Amaterasu the Second, Amaterasu's rebellious daughter. She was just using her mom's computer.
• Another version of Amaterasu Omikami.
