Those weren't needed with the self moving pair facing off with Sandalphon.
Despite the giant creatures speed, both massive catgirls it was fighting were naturally agile and quick. No matter how it darted towards them, they were able to dodge and strike back, with the only limitation being the size of the chamber that they were in. And despite the damage that had been done to the place, Sandalphon was the worse for wear, with cuts and broken pieces all over the place.
Not that it was going to give up that easily.
It dashed towards Kyoko, but she slid to the side so that the blade of her naginata sliced across its top, before she used the other smash it in the rear, sending it tumbling to the wall.
The creature shook its head and turned to look at Yui, running to leap on her, but she ducked down and used her sword to cut down its belly.
Sandalphon roared and went to bite the one who had just injured it, but the catgirl knight brought her sword up so that the Angel bit on the blade.
"Got you," she murmured, and pushed fowards, which resulted in Sandalpon having its back against the potmarked wall.
That gave Kyoko the perfect opportunity to send the point of her weapon into its gut, and S2 organ.
The resulting explosion sent a cloud of dust and debris up so that nothing could be seen.
"Did they get him?" asked Replacement Bridge Bunny #1.
Replacement Bridge Bunny #2 frowned in concern. "Like, I hope so..."
There was a long moment of total uncertainty, where nothing could be seen, and no one was able to tell what had happened. Everyone knew that they were safe, but nothing of the two units, or the Angel. They stood there, waiting for the air to clear and to see what the result of the fight was.
When the dust did finally settle, two giant forms could be seen standing there. Both were at attention, and looked to be whole, which was confirmed as it became clear who was there.
Thought they looked tired, mussed, and slightly injured, neither knight nor samurai looked to be anywhere near dead.
"Looks like we survived our battle," Kyoko commented.
"And won it. Which means that Gendo and I..," Yui began... just before she bowled over by Unit 00. "What's this?!"
The prototype unit shoved her to the floor and knelt over the prone form as the blue hands took hold of the collar of the knight's armor. "'Gendo and you'?! I give so much, and just want to be happy, but the damned spectre of you keeps on haunting me! Why won't you just stay DEAD?!"
Everyone else stared at the bezerk EVA as it began to slam its fists onto Yui while:
