The sound of the simultaneous punches caused further echoes within the confines of the bay.
Unit 00 briefly became airborne before slamming onto its back and lying there.
I never did like her, confessed Yui. Now, I believe I have a few words to say to Gendo.
A loudspeaker crackled to life. "Uhm. He just left..."
Gendo Ikari left a trail of rubber as he sped away from the Geofront. He didn't know WHAT was going on, but until he found Rei and triggered Third Impact - it looked as if he needed to get away from here long enough to determine what the situation was before he could actually get control of it.
He was willing to sacrifice the world to be with Yui again, and not incidently become a god unto himself. Meeting her while she was a giant catgirl, altered by whatever strange events were now occurring despite his careful plans - another thing altogether.
Once he had a better handle on the situation and could wrest control of these new elements from whomever had them - he would. Fortunately he'd had the foresight to prepare ahead of time and NERV England had an auxilary set of controls and supplies.
Channel 9 was showing one series after another, odd combinations of things that were produced by Balthazar using state of the art photo realistic computer animation.
So far, 'Little Shrine On The Prairie' was their top hit.
"Hibiki-san. I... I just want to say...""Meia-chan. I know."
(music swells up and abruptly dies.)
"NYOOWWWWW! Make room for Dita!"
"I thought I had that door fixed."
"We'll be back in a moment with the rest of this week's episode of CatDread."
