Phoenix Ranma: Accidents happen [Episode 90803]

by Kestral

"Sailor Teleport-o!"

Sailor Mercury quickly stepped away from the circle and tapped her earpiece so that her visor would appear. "Scanning. I don't see her."

"This is definitely the Gates Of Time," said Sailor Mars. "No wonder she's gone off the edge. All these cold clammy mists, imposing gothic-doorways, nothing else to look at. It's creepy. Imagine spending most of your life in this."

"Oh, I don't know," said Sailor Venus. "Get some drapes, maybe some throw pillows..."

"Hmmm," hmmmed Sailor Jupiter. "Look, she left the Gates ajar."

"She's not supposed to do that, is she?" asked Sailor Moon.

"No, she's not," answered Sailor Mercury, scanning the doorway. "Nor is she supposed to go into the past to assassinate a child so that she can have a 'pure' Crystal Tokyo."

Sailor Moon stared. "We're too late?"

"I told you we needed to hurry," said Sailor Saturn with a touch of testiness.

"But I really really had to go," said Sailor Moon.

"You shouldn't have drank all that juice then," said Sailor Mars.

"So now what do we do?" asked Sailor Saturn. "I'd say go back in time but she didn't leave her key and I don't see any controls."

"We wait," said Sailor Mercury. "I'll see if I can learn more."

"Waaah!" said Sailor Moon, tripping on a piece of mist.

SLAM! went the Gates of Time. clik!

"Uh oh," said Sailor Mercury.

"What 'uh oh'?" asked Sailor Mars. "Usagi just tripped again and fell against the Gates."

"She just closed the Gates, they locked, and I don't think there's a keyhole from the other side," said Sailor Mercury.

"So we can't go back and rescue Ranma?" Sailor Mars asked, glaring at Moon.

"I think Pluto-san might be locked into the past," said Sailor Mercury.

Sailor Pluto frowned. Okay, so much for the simple methods. She'd just go back in time and push his mother into traffic before he was born. One quick trip to the time gates and -

WHAM!

Sailor Pluto stared at the closed Gates Of Time, and particularly the keyhole-less side that was her exit. "It closed? How could it close? I'm the Guardian of Time! IT CAN'T BE CLOSED! RANMA SAOTOME, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

WHAM!

"Pops you get back here!"

TRAMPLE!

Having been knocked over by a heavyset martial artist and then run over by a five year old boy, Sailor Pluto slowly lifted herself out of the dirt and dust. "That's it. No more Miss Nice Time Guardian!" Clearly she needed to arrange a fatal accident for Ranma Saotome.
