The second try didn't work either.
Neither did the third.
Then she realised that she was going to be forced to use only what was at hand to get rid of him.
That would be difficult as without her connection to the Gate, she would be stuck having to walk to the nearest town.
If she got out of this forest, that was.
But she was certain that she could. After all she was an intelligent, and capable moment who had managed to keep from being spotted no matter what time period she was in.
Unfortunately... she wasn't a woodsperson or a tracker, and had never been a Girl Scout.
And that branch she had just pushed out of the way was coming back to smack her in the face.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!"
"Huh? What's that?" Ranma wondered.
Genma snorted. "I don't know but you're not using it to get out of this exercise!"
"You saying something?"
"Stupid boy!"
Setsuna Meiou was not a happy woman at the moment. She had started out in an attempt to stop the timeline from being corrupted and had been forced to kill a boy to keep him from moving things off of the path she had been working for. Only he hadn't stayed dead, and her subsequent attempt to make sure that he was ready for the cart didn't work as he found being unable to breathe a temporary condition. Then it had resulted in her being locked out from the Time Gate, and getting run over by the pair.
So Sailor Pluto was not even close to being in a good mood.
"Here's your double espresso..."
She was also running on enough caffeine to kill a herd of mustangs.
Barely acknowledging the waitresses words, she forced her battered body to pick up the cup and start drinking. There she was, stuck in the past, and completely unable to finish what she had come to accomplish. All she'd managed to do was to get her target stronger, and managed to get herself beaten up unintentionally.
"I'll have to find out where he's training and make sure that he gets what's coming to him... And then everything will be all better. He'll be out of the picture and I won't have to worry about anything. They'll go on completely loveless to the point that they'll turn to her in desperation, yes I will.
"Maybe sabotaging something that he'll be using for training. Or get a car to hit him when he's crossing the street. Then again, he could always be in a building when it's being demolished. However it's done, when it is, I'll be free to do what I have to. And it'll be all good... hee hee..."
The waitress looked at the madly giggling customer and wondered if letting the woman have six cups of cappuccino in a row was a good idea. "Ummm... Ma'am? I think that it'd be a good idea if I took that cup back..."
"You touch my drink and I'll be forced to hurt you severely. Do you understand?"
"Yes'm!"
"Good..," Setsuna told her darkly and sipped her espresso while:
