There was Ranma, sleeping peacefully in the park. There was his stupid father. The catfist hadn't killed him, a "dead scream" had just stunned him, so how about this?
Sailor Pluto drew the bow back, got her twitching under control, and fired.
Thunk!
Sailor Pluto raised the bow over her head in triumph. "I shot cocky Ranma with my bow and arrow. Bwahahahahahahahahee hee."
Across the street, Ranma's body twitched and he idly pulled the arrow out. Instantly his body developed the 'Avoid Attacks While Sleeping' defense.
Sailor Pluto lowered her head to get one last look at the dead Ranma when she noticed he no longer had an arrow in his chest. "What? No. No. Take this!"
Twang! (Ranma's head moved just enough that the arrow shot past him.) Thwip (Ranma turned over in his sleep.) Whish (Ranma turned back to his original position.)
"ARRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!" screamed Sailor Pluto as she began shooting arrows wildly, most of which were no longer coming even remotely close - though this was more a function of her deteriorating aim than anything Ranma was doing.
Breathing hard through clenched teeth, Pluto stared at the boy. "How dare you mock me by sleeping through my assassination attempts?! I'll kill you yet!"
In the morning, Genma found a pamphlet he didn't remember picking up. Oh well, it was perfect anyway. It was:
