To have an honest to goodness magical prince out of a bedtime story was something that none had ever thought possible save during girlhood fantasies.
Many jealous looks had been sent at the images on the television.
Shock had replaced it as the blow had been struck.
But many saw their chance to seek true love and a 'happily ever after' if only they could get to meet him.
And not all of them were engaged to the Prince because of his father.
It was a quiet meeting behind the closed doors of the defense ministry. The group of very somber men and women looked to be almost a still image, save for the occassional small movement. None seemed to be about to break the mood, and didn't look liked they were happy about having to be there. But neither were they about to get up and leave, despite the situation at hand.
"I know they'll declare war," one younger man asked, "But are we sure we want to do this?"
The minister folded his hands on the table and set an even look on his junior. "This comes from the Prime Minister himself."
"Still, giving in like this..."
"A foreign head of state, one whose arrival marked a historic moment in the annals of mankind was assaulted for being old fashioned in his greeting."
"I know that, but this is a bit harsh, isn't it?"
"Not that I see," his boss replied, "They have abilities we've only seen a fraction of and quite possibly can destroy us just by having members of their group speak."
"But we haven't even talked to this prince since the incident..."
"The American ambassador's grandaughter asked me if Japanese boys hit girls who kissed them like girls did."
"Oh... I didn't know it was that bad..," the junior admitted with a wince.
"Then we are all in agreement," the minister said, and got a group of nods. "The warrant for the arrest of Akane Tendo shall be carried out post haste."
The pronouncement didn't lighten the atmosphere, but there was a sense of purpose while:
