After a moment of listening to her father sniffling, Akane decided to speak up. "I guess this is it..."
"Right," her sister agreed, "But you've got to remember something."
"What is it?"
"We don't know what we'll find. This is the future, or at least that genie's future. It might be different than what we think it could be."
"It could be bad, couldn't it?" the younger girl commented.
"Could be. This might even be a glimpse of our own futures, though I hope that she sent us into another world or something."
"What are the two of you worrying about?!" Genma complained as he from where he had been sulking in the back seat, having gotten water to fit inside the car, "The house is right there."
"I know you haven't lived with us for that long, but even you should realise that this isn't the same place."

"Somehow, I doubt that."
"Then what do you think happened? My son is probably out looking for his beloved father as we speak!"
"Yeah, right," Akane snorted, and spotted some pictures on a small table. She walked over to them, and picked up the largest one to look at, which she did with an "Oh my..."
"What's up?" her sister asked.
"This," Akane told her as she showed her the image.
Nabiki peered at it, and sighed, as it looked like what she had thought was true. But she would a little bit more proof to confirm that in this future Ranma had:
