Gaia had been ready to berate her underling for his stupidity when the prisoner became the escapee.
"Rhea," Gaia addressed the third of their group. "Batch three."
"Huh?" said the dimwitted underling just before a supersoaker chugged water at his head.
Rhea and Gaia looked down at their underling and smiled at his blankjawed shock.
"Now you have been blessed by the Earth Mother as well," said Gaia, couching the idiot's punishment in terms of a blessing. "Find the prisoner and return her."
The winged monkey ("Spring Of Drowned Ape Dancing With A Duck While Wearing A Fez And Glittery Vest, very strange if tragic story about accordion player's trained monkey happen 90 year ago") saluted and began sniffing around for the trail of the ferret.
"You know, Rhea, this has possibilities," said Gaia, seeing a vision of hundreds of winged fez-wearing monkey-boys flying off to avenge the planet.
"I can think of a few more converts to make," said Rhea with a gleam in her eye. "May I be excused to go make minions?"
"Have fun," agreed Gaia with a similar gleam. "We'll have to acquire more of this miraculous water and when we regain the ferret we'll try out a few experiments I have in mind."
Ranma and company waited with increasing nervousness as their flight grew closer to the sightings of giants. Ranma because he was in a cabin with several fiancees. Asuka and Misato because of what they feared the giants would turn out to be. Even Rei was experiencing a feeling of dread about the possibility. Kiyone because just the looks from Asuka and Misato indicated this could be BAD.
"Coming up on the site," came the pilot's voice over their headsets.
Kiyone began peering through binoculars, trying to spot some glimpse of these giants.
