That had him in a private spot for his attempts as he shifted his form into various others. He worked not only on other forms, but on shapes that he could change to within a moment's notice. That would make it easier on him, especially when he would need such an ability. And he hadn't thought that there would be any sort of surprises other than trying to determine what to change into next.
But after changing to another form, he realised that there were sounds coming from nearby. Interested in finding out what had made them, he followed them to a small area where a pool of clear water was waiting. The combination of cool water, lovely scenery and isolation made it seem inviting, and quite possibly someplace another might enjoy for a swim.
Which included the humanoid currently wading through it. Her clothing was on one bank, and she was simply treading water in a leisurely enjoyment of the situation. He watched her as she bathed, and noted that she seemed to be completely relaxed in the sun dappled pool.
