Setsuna's Fault/Hotaru's Sensei: rock 'em sock 'em robots [Episode 98355]

by Kestral

Ranma smiled fondly at his friend, for all that he was her sempai/sensei. "The basic idea I got from that Western comic book you were reading the other day. These are hurtbots."

Hotaru's eyes widened as she looked at the designs. "They're sentai versions!"

Ranma nodded. "Yeah, I thought that -"

"But we can't allow interference - " interrupted Pluto.

"Nonsense, the whole idea of Crystal Tokyo is based on friendship and our being warriors of love and justice," interrupted Venus. "Hotaru's sensei is doing this out of friendship and where the hell would be the justice in you blasting him into itty bitties?"

Pluto's breath hissed. The timestream was getting even more unstable if Sailor Venus had managed to say all that without mangling a phrase!

"I'm hoping I can get the gynoid technology going, but I'll need data from Hotaru's new pet to make it work," said Ranma.

"Gynoid?" asked Mars.

"Female androids, since the root word for android refers to a male - though prevalent use would indicate android would be correct for female," said Ranma with a shrug. "Here's the overview."

"Female, but kinda alien looking," said Jupiter.

"Right, they'd be able to join with you as protective armor but would actually be individuals with their own likes," said Ranma, neglecting to mention that if he managed this then he could build himself a girlfriend and girl friday. Oh well, maybe eventually.

"Sailor Moon, there can be no compromise here. Crystal Tokyo must be pure and unsullied as the driven snow," tried Pluto.

"Actually there is sufficient air pollution in Tokyo that snow invariably has traces of that..." Mercury's voice trailed off at the glare from Pluto. "Never mind."
