"Great. Just great," Kaji muttered. "I was wondering what was wrong with Misato. Now, I know."
Kaji shook his head and pulled away from the store, without a backwards glance.
"Okay. Misato, Rei, and Asuka are now genies that serve Shinji. If I tell Gendo or Seele about this, then.... That would be bad."
Kaji thought up different things he could 'report', while keeping Gendo and Seele in the dark about what just happened.
"I have no idea on what to do. That much I do believe from him. That Shinji has to find the solution on his own, otherwise he would have gone after Gendo or Keel. I hate being helpless."
As Kaji pulled into the parking lot of his apartment building, he muttered, "IF I could have prevented Shinji from going into the stor in the first place...."
