Sidhe Meddling-Pewter: Dragonbonded [Episode 98994]

The assassin heard the rumble and crash behind her as the entry abruptly crashed shut.

She took a deep and calming breath. Now she was in the familiar cool darkness with the walls and ceiling around her just as she remembered. None of this insanity with nothing over her head and all that disgusting green stuff around her.

It was entirely fitting that the traitor die in such a hell.


The transmute rock to mud had started the landslide, and now a second one melted the rocks into a single sheet before a third spell turned the mud into especially hard rock.

The trespasser had gotten away, but that was fine. She would take the tale of Sinda's demise with her, and with any luck that would give the drow paladin a chance to grow into someone who could defend herself against further attacks by the time that mistake was discovered.


Sinda shifted slightly, her ragged breathing easing as muscles loosened. Her erratic breathing slowed and deepened.

Elves normally did something called the reverie. They did not sleep but rested and remembered.

Sinda slept and dreamed.

Pewter stood guard in his mountain lion form and watched.

Various cute little animals observed from overhead, only retreating far enough that they could discuss this unexpected development.

The bond was the sort that many silver dragons formed with trusted companions they'd known for years. For Pewter it would be a childhood friend.

The dragon had more control over the dragonbond than the humanoid partner, but either could sense something of the other's moods and presence.

Pewter felt the presence of Sinda and knew he'd be able to tell when she was in trouble now, and he'd be able to track her across the world if need be.

For now though, he would simply guard her in her sleep as her body recovered.


"Not bad, you guided him through that without him even knowing," said the eagle.

"That was nothing," rasped the owl drily. "I'm twelve hundred years older than him - I've forgotten far more than he knows."

"Hmmm? Oh, it appears the next act has finally arrived. They got lost from the sound of it." A robin listened to some distant birds chatter. "Sinda's adventuring group should reach here tomorrow morning."

"I would expect them to be a group of oddballs," said the owl. "Square pegs for rounded roles or something like that."

"Well, actually," said the robin, who was actually a bronze dragon herself, "they're:"
