Lamp Of Mihoshi: Son of an average joe, but his great great grandpa on the other hand [Episode 99287]

by Kestral

His was a long and interesting bloodline.

The Kamiya School and Mitsurugi style had come together a long time ago, and that was the form that Ranma practiced.

Without a bokuto or shinnai in his hands, Ranma was a fairly good fighter but Akane or any number of others could have defeated him. Put a blade or practice blade in his hands, particularly a reverse-sword, and that changed. He wasn't the "manslayer" of his ancestry - but it was like setting a caged bird free to fly. He went from fairly good on a local school level to damn good on a regional level.

Mihoshi's idea of what constituted normal wasn't that normal in itself.

It was because of the previously mentioned factors switching tracks on Ranma that his life was about to regain a measure of craziness.
