But that usually tended to be in job lots, or aimed at causing reactions in the parents, relatives and/or guardians. Just killing a kid as a purpose in and of itself was rather... pathetic, and was beneath even the most incompetant general's level. It didn't even take that much power, as most children were easily frightened and were weak.
As such, he had hurried off to do Beryl's bidding, chafing at the idea of having to do so. The girl was a twit, and probably had found her magic books in a school library as far as he was concerned. He was stuck with her however, and he knew that the only way that he had open was to kill this child.
Yet, he had a plan to deal with this rather embarrassing and pointless assignment.
He'd simply drop it on someone else.
Even though he had agreed to kill the child, he hadn't said how he would do it. That left the door open to use a 'weapon' rather than go himself, and so spare himself the embarrassment of having to do it personally. Then, once the kid was with his ancestors, he could go back and report that fact before getting away from this moronic girl and her silly summonings.
Which was why he was standing much as she had when she had called upon him. His rituals were perfect though, despite the smaller nature of them, but then he wasn't attempting to call another general to do his work for him. That would have been rather foolish, and unneccessary.
Especially as the creature that was appearing before him would do more than well enough.
Looking at the lesser yoma, which was pretty generic if he did say so himself, he decided that this underling would do the job. After all, even a total idiot could manage something like this, and it'd take a complete and utter screw up to fail.
"Go forth and find this one boy," he ordered, "Find Ranma Saotome and kill him!"
The creature nodded, and headed off towards the school while:
