'Normally, I'd just go into a speech, but I think I'll keep quiet and let the guesses run wild.'
Sailor Moon took off her tiara and threw it at the window.
"Moon Tiara Action!"
The tiara turned into a glowing disk and smashed through the window and cut apart the Youma with relative ease. Sailor Moon hovered in the window with the moonlight behind her, to give her silhouette. She dropped below the window's level and flew off, before anyone could get a clear view of her. She looked down at Tokyo and felt the tears flow.
'I will never give up hope. I will save Galaxia this time without the Earth being burned. The others need to be stronger to protect this lovely Earth.'
Arriving home and transforming back into her 'normal' form, Usagi stared at the brooch. She fingered each of the crystals and whispered the names of each of the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask. As she lay on her bed, she recalled all the adventures she had with her friends and the odd barrier that appeared between them and her, after it was revealed that she was the Moon Princess.
'If I could just remove the Rainbow Crystals before Beryl hunts for them...,' Usagi thought. 'Wait a second. Maybe I can.'
Sailor Moon entered her room through the window and changed back into a normal girl. Holding out the brooch, Usagi concentrated.
Across Juuban, six humans and one cat lit up in the colors of the rainbow. After a minute, small gems appeared out of them and sped off. Before the removal of the Rainbow Crystals could trigger a transformation, a wave of healing energy neutralized their darker half. Usagi felt relief as she saw seven different colored beams of light approach her. She held up the brooch and allowed the Silver Crystal to absorb the Rainbow Crystals. A tear formed in Usagi's eye and was also pulled towards the Silver Crystal. She felt a jolt as this timeline's Silver Crystal and the one that she brought from the future merge.
"I'll make friends with them. But as to the princess business, that is my secret," Usagi whispered to herself.
"You know that's not going to work."
Usagi whirled around and saw the ghostly image of Sailor Mars standing before her. She glanced down at the brooch and saw that the red crystal on the cover was glowing.
Looking up, she choked out, "Rei?"
The ghost smiled and nodded. "I know that I wouldn't have given up on finding the Moon Princess and neither will she."
"How can you be here?"
Rei looked pointedly at the brooch. "You have our Starseeds. When the two Silver Crystals merged, it allowed us to appear as ghosts, but only for short periods of time. We're still dead, but at least we can advise you."
Usagi stared as Rei faded away. She gripped the brooch tightly with her hand and crawled into bed.
'Rei's ghost appeared and that means the others can appear as well. I'll be a friend with the others, but I think I'll keep my being Sailor Moon a secret from them. It'll be too painful for me to be with them at Senshi meetings."
Usagi stared at a golden crystal on the brooch's cover.
'Especially Mamo-chan.'
Crying softly, Usagi clenched the brooch hard. 'They stood aside to allow me to build my confidence and skills. I need to stand aside to allow them to build up their confidence and skills. I'm not strong enough to go it alone. I hope Luna finds Rei and Ami soon. I can use my communicator to tell them things. I think I'll go by Angel.'
