The trouble with acting on what she knew was the fact that she knew that she would have to avoid having her father get suspicious of what she was doing, which would be a trick in and of itself. After all, Ranma's wife wasn't exactly living next door, so she would have to sneak around so that her Dad didn't find out. A simple call could act as a signal as to the fact that there was trouble out there, but the fact of the matter was that she would eventually have to figure out a way to get to see that particular 'Mrs. Saotome', if only to arrange her friend's escape from the arrangement.

But as she looked over at her sisters, she realized that they could help. By the look in Nabiki's eye, she could tell that she had picked up on her little sister's feelings, but if there was anyone who could handle being crafty when it was needed, it was her. On the other hand, Kasumi sat serenely, which was actually a help in this instance. There was no one else who could keep things calm and level, and she was always the caretaker of everyone she met.

Knowing that both of them would be on board for helping Ranma and his wife was something that made the youngest girl able to relax somewhat.
