Hinata stirred herself slightly and realized that she was on a bed, with all her clothes on, that Naruto was leaning close and looking concernedly at her.
She was obviously dreaming. "Nar- Naruto?"
"Good," said Naruto, flashing that infectious smile of his at her. "You're hurt, but I found a way I can help you. I just need your permission first."
"I'm hurt?" asked Hinata. She didn't feel hurt, but then this was a dream anyway so she shouldn't expect to feel it right? "How?"
"This 'pactio' jutsu requires a kiss," said Naruto, suddenly looking away and fidgeting despite his position still leaning close to her. "That's why I wanted you-"
Hinata wasn't tuned in for the rest of the statement. Naruto + kiss + statement of wanting her. Wow. She hadn't realized she had the nerve to even dream of something like this!
"-and apparently it'll give you some kind of powerup but I'm not too clear on that. Hinata? Hinata are you okay? Her eyes just kinda glazed over! Well, more than usual. I think. Kinda hard to tell."
Hinata began slumping back feeling like she was going to faint again. Then again, if she didn't even have the nerve to do this in a dream... Realizing that Naruto had leaned closer to check her eyes for something, she closed that tiny little distance and touched her lips to his.
And felt the lip contact. Which meant that this was NOT a dream.
Toltiir was a little surprised that the girl moved the six inches or so to initiate even that tiny little kiss. Well, that would be enough for a pactio, but he wanted this to be even more memorable with possibly amusing repercussions down the road.
So he set up something a bit more intense. Toltiir HAD been around for awhile after all. He could access a lot of raw data, even this tiny sealed fragment could do that.
So this wasn't just a kiss. This was a Kiss.
Toltiir put it down as a Passive Automatic ability, the Devastating Kiss Jutsu. Then he giggled about the potential situations this could drop in Naruto's lap.
Hinata would have died of sheer embarassment except for a few things. Her brief little kiss was returned. It all lasted less than three seconds as far as the outside world was concerned.
As far as Hinata Hyuga was concerned though...
She was drowned in Glory.
She was lifted high on a wave of Ecstacy.
She was wrapped in Joy.
Her back arched, her toes curled, she felt the Kiss fire off from her lips and ride the currents of chakra and blood through her body.
The touch of lips abated but the echoes of that kiss, the fires of pleasure and happiness going through her, and other completely unfamiliar sensations as she settled back onto the bed.
Her First Kiss.
It was odd that there was a line from a play she'd seen years ago that just seemed to bubble up from her unconscious as she drifted off. She couldn't even remember all the details of the story. Just the one line - "please, sir, can I have some more?"
"Are you SURE that helped?" asked Naruto.
Just look at that smile on her face, said the Demon Fox. Doesn't she look happy? I think it'd take major surgery to get that smile off her face.
"She's bleeding from the nose, that ain't good is it?" asked Naruto.
Just a minor side effect, said the Demon Fox. Let me just make her a copy of the pactio card.
"Oh yeah," said Naruto, checking the little card that had appeared. "So this'll heal her?"
You know how fast you heal and recover from exhaustion?
"Yeah?" asked Naruto.
This'll give her a measure of that ability, said the Demon Fox. As well as other benefits.
Naruto looked at the card, which showed Hinata all right. It was just that the card Hinata was:
