"Easy," said the cat. "You want the ten tailed beast? I can do it. You want the fox to be a hero? I can do that too. You want tapdancing fish singing 'Disco Duck'? No problemo. You want the Hyuga to have special ears instead of eyes, or the Uchiha to have special jutsu powers in their nose? Simple."
"The fox as a hero?" asked Naruto. "I can't see that."
POOF!
"I HAVE ULTIMATE POWER!" said the gigantic figure of Madara Uchiha. "ALL WHO LIVE SHALL BOW AND WORSHIP ME!"
"Are you ready, human?" asked the golden fox, her nine tails lashing behind her.
"Ready," said the Fourth Hokage, drawing his chakra up to a visible glow.
"Ready," said an unexpected voice.
"Kushina?! You just gave birth!" said Minato, who might have been the Hokage responsible for everyone's lives, but was also a husband and father.
"Women in Rice Country do it and go back to planting an hour later," said Kushina Uzumaki, drawing her twin sabers. "You'll need me in this!"
"But -" began Minato.
"He comes!" warned the Ninetails, expanding to huge size in order to fight the oncoming giant.
"Wha?" asked Naruto.
"Madara, aka Tobi, aka Goki, and so on - he can easily come under video game villain rules - meaning you have to defeat him three times," said Toltiir.
"Three times?" asked Naruto.
"Once in the Valley Of Judgement back at the founding of the village, once here, and then you'd have to face him," said Toltiir, now a black cat wearing samurai armor. "It's one of those traditional sorts of things."
"So the fox could be a HERO?!" asked Naruto.
"We've run him off," said Minato, limping towards the dying fox.
"But your wife is dead, I am dying, and the poison will kill you soon," said the ninetailed fox deity.
"Where are those healers?" asked Sarutobi, noting several of the surviving soldiers and clan leaders gathering - but the healers weren't here yet.
"It matters not," said the ninetails. "Madara would not have used a simple poison, nor will mortal medicine be effective against one of my kind. There is, however, a way to prepare for when Uchiha returns."
"You're talking about sealing your power," said Minato. "To do that, though."
"We're both dying anyway," said the ninetails, laying her head heavily against the ground. "Use the seal. You have a newborn child. Let our sacrifices count for something at least."
Minato collapsed to his knees. "If we do this, we have to do this quickly. Bring me Naruto."
"See? Piece of cake," said Toltiir. "So, you want the Jyuubi or not?"
