Naruto sat on the floor of the warehouse, looking at all the images of eyes floating overhead. "What am I looking at?"
Designs for bloodline eyes based on those other timelines.
"So what do they DO?" emphasized Naruto.
Oh, said Toltiir. This one here is Heat Vision. You'd be able to concentrate your chakra in your eyes and then hit your target with beams of energy that would heat the target up rapidly.
Naruto watched the version of him in the image stare at a target log, then red beams stabbed out and the log caught on fire. "Whoa."
Then there's the optic blast version, said Toltiir, showing a similar scene except the target was hit by pulses of light that smashed it like a sledgehammer.
"That could be handy," admitted Naruto.
Then there's the kadougan, or spiral-eye, said Toltiir. A dojutsu which would allow you to make friends and influence people.
"That sounds good!" said Naruto. "I could have used friends growing up."
There's Precognition, continued the cat. Though that's not always accurate. Especially when you're already known for being unpredictable. There's Postcognition, being able to see scenes of the past. More reliable but less useful in a fight.
"There's a lot of these eye-things then?" asked Naruto.
Like I said, I wouldn't duplicate the Sharingan or Byakugan, but that leaves a few things.
"So what have you got that really stacks up to those two?" asked Naruto.
There's the spiral-eye that I mentioned earlier, there's the Wizard Sight, there's the - how did the Senju use of wood techniques get here? There's the Rinnegan, of course. There's the Care Bear Stare, there's Penetance Glare, and there's Judgement Sight. There's the ability to see probability lines, aka Fate Vision. There's the Doctor's ability to see the stream of time and both the hardpoints and variables within it.
"The doctor? Doctor who?" asked Naruto.
Exactly, said Toltiir. There's Karmavision, Supervision, Pervision, and The Stare Of Kaa. Oh, almost forgot suppervision, that thing that Majin Buu did. That might be amusing if it was tweaked a bit. Maybe something like a Beholder's eyebeams? Flesh to Plush maybe?
Sensing that this could go on for awhile, Naruto decided to give one a try. At least see what it did.
