"Huh?" asked Naruto.
"WHAT?" asked Sakura, though there was the hope that this would get Naruto to STOP bothering her.
"Interesting. You plan that this would give you back three members of your clan. Any that do not marry Naruto would therefore be available for you later."
Sasuke winced as his clever plan was apparently rather more obvious than he had hoped.
"Even if it doesn't work that way, it still gives you three more Uchiha still alive." The Being seemed to consider that. "Possibly interesting, and it does actually have a chance of working out better. This will be a retroactive change, with the three being engaged to Naruto and sent off to live away from Konohagakure for several years."
"That would work," said Sasuke, wondering what the catch would be. Because if this thing with all the eyes had seen his plan, then there was likely something he hadn't planned as an outcome.
"True. Several things in fact."
Sasuke winced. "You can tell what I'm thinking."
"You're young and mostly inexperienced. One doesn't need to read minds to be able to tell what you're thinking. As to what - that depends on the mechanism I'm considering. One being that your mother figures out that Naruto Uzumaki is the child of her friend Kushina Uzumaki, and tries to set things up prior to her death. The other is simply manifesting the night of the massacre and making the offer to three young girls who would otherwise be slaughtered as so many were that night."
Sasuke twitched but tried to keep from showing any sort of reaction to either possibility.
"I'll decide in a bit. Next. Sakura Haruno. Speak your wish. Same limitations and exclusions and conditions."
"Me?! I. That is. I think. I mean."
Sasuke sighed and face-palmed. That this kept most of his face from displaying any other reaction was just a coincidence, right?
Sakura made a strangled noise as she considered her crush's current disappointment with her. Which caused her to just go ahead and blurt something out. "I wish-"
