Gatekeepers 1/2: Are you sure you want to use THAT Gate ? [Episode 38224]

When fighting against the Invaders or other menaces, Ranma Saotome would use his martial arts and special techniques on his enemies first and foremost. He used his Gate only in desperate situations where every other possible means had failed.

Why ? You ask. It was because Ranma's Gate was the...

• Gate of Destruction. When something or someone has to be positively and completely annihilated down to less than its component atoms.
• Gate of Love (Nodoka insists on calling it the Gate of Manliness). Sure the Invaders can't take it but the side effects on humans are a pain, for him at least.
• Gate of Cuteness. Ranma would rather die than launch special attacks made of sugary cute things and/or animals.
• Gate of Time. Setsuna is jealous since Ranma doesn't have any limits put on his power. It remains dangerous and tiring however.
• Gate of Fury. Ranma can enter a berserker state worthy of the Hulk but it is very difficult for him to snap out of it.
• Another weird, limited in its use or both Gate.
