"That's pretty much it," the still giddy Pluto replied. She had finally gotten rid of the cause of such a massive headache for her after all, one that had been making her grit her teeth in frustration.
"Just so we all wind up being in Usagi's harem instead."
"Yes, you will."
"But just one thing. Does that mean that Mako-chan really won't get together with Tenchi like she'd hoped?"
"Huh?!" went the Time Senshi.
"I finally find my old sempai and have a chance with him," Makoto groused, "only to have this happen."
"ERK?!"
"At least you've got a chance," Minako complained, "Ami-chan's got her college bound guy..."
The Ice Senshi blushed heavily. "Keitaro-san's just a friend I study with Mina-chan..."
"Yeah, well. I was really hoping to get together with that cute Ryouga guy that stops around here sometimes, but nooo... I'm going to be an old maid before I'm eighteen..."
"Guess now everyone will stop making fun of my friendship with Mizuhara..," Rei said dully.
Hotaru got a sad faraway look in her eyes. "Now everyone will make fun of me again because I won't have him as a boyfriend..."
Pluto just stared at the girls, as she realised that they had still wound up on paths that didn't lead to the future that they had been on. Somehow, getting rid of one unfortunately problematic boy had brought up lots of others, and she was confused about how that was possible. By all means they should have been on the way from fruitless relationships to forging sexual identies as the Neo-Queen's harem, thus ensuring the future.
And so the Senshi there were treated to the sight of a frustrated Pluto pulling on her hair while she came to the conclusion that she would have to:
